About KC

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, Artist, and Writer residing in Denton, Texas. I have spent many years exploring the realm of the healing arts, and expanding into the field of bodywork has proven to be a natural and invaluable addition. In August 2023, I began my 3 year immersion into the foundations of Craniosacral Biodynamics. This practice has ushered in a broader awareness of life and the human body. I am continually expanded and humbled by this work, and I am so excited to share it with you.

Now that I am beyond my first year of foundational training and more settled in this seat of deeper listening into the human system, I am ready to extend the invitation of Biodynamic Craniosacral sessions to my community.

I grew up just outside of Fort Worth, Texas and have lived in various parts of the state since; living in Denton for the last 8. I feel very connected to Texas. Warm and familiar, Texas is my home. I love the concept of rooting and blooming where we are planted. I feel honored to share my insight and perspective in my chosen corner of the universe and I am grateful to have the opportunity to continue expanding my awareness here and to offer a bridge for others through this work.

Noticing and listening to subtlety have remained intact as some of my core strengths since childhood. These skills led me to become a bodyworker and to learn to listen more deeply with my hands and into the cadence of my clients, energetically. My approach to this work is rooted in the belief that by tuning into our bodies, we reclaim our ability to operate closer to our source of intuition, imagination and creativity. Through experience and observation, I know that the body is inherently intelligent. Because of this awareness, I see and say with clarity: Our medicine is within. To tap our inner-well, all we need to do is tune in.

I believe, whether we are all consciously aware of this or not – we are not separate and that all life is connected. I believe when we holistically tend to one life, we are tending to all life on some level; and that restoring the full expression of health in any vessel of life has a cascading effect in this world.

I began training to become a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2018; completing 500 hours of study and hands on experience in subjects such as Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology, and Kinesiology. I have been an LMT since January 2021 and have been working with clients professionally, in a therapeutic capacity since then.

Before moving into the field of bodywork, I spent many years studying and exploring practices and mediums such as: The art of ritual, Astrology, Human Design, Herbalism, Ancestral Communion, Tarot, Palmistry, Dance, Writing, Music, Weaving, and Mixed Media Arts. I still use and resource in most of these mediums today. Each one provides a unique outlet of expression and revelation, and brings joy and value to my life.

Because of this background, I have maintained a keen and continuous interest in areas of expression and perception. The preservation of my creative and sensitive nature lends itself to sensing subtleties- both energetic and material, and proves to be incredibly beneficial within the therapeutic relational field.

Out of curiosity and a pursuit of deeper learning, since becoming an LMT, I have studied various related therapies. Studies spanning from: energy work, trauma-informed care, grief and death support, reflexology, movement therapy, equine assisted therapies and equine massage, aromatherapy to restorative yoga.

I have been studying the foundations of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy with Scott Zamurut and Teena Walker since August of 2023, and feel very aligned with the philosophies and perspective of this practice. My Foundational BCST training is still in progress, unfolding until Fall of 2026.
